The AIRAID 201-298 air intake system includes an AIRAID 721-473 universal air filter
The Chevrolet Colorado and its counterpart the GMC Canyon are mid-size pickup trucks manufactured by General Motors and introduced in 2004 to replace the compact Chevrolet S-10 and GMC Sonoma. Isuzu, which participated in the design of the truck, offered its own version in late 2005 called the i-Series. It is also related to the Hummer H3 and H3T.
The Chevrolet Colorado experienced a three-year hiatus from 2013 to 2015 when a redesigned version was unveiled. Available as a 4-door crew and extended cab, two all new engines were available to power it –- a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine that delivers 305-horsepower or a 2.5-liter I-4 gasoline engine that generated 200-horsepower. Two transmissions were offered – a 6-speed manual w/OD or a 6-speed automatic w/OD and auto-manual. A turbo-diesel 2.8-liter 4-cylinder engine was introduced for the 2016 model. Otherwise, the same engines that were available to power the 2015 Colorado are also available for the 2016 model. The same engine choices are also available for the GMC Canyon.

The air intake system unit is designed to replace the factory intake tubing, air filter, and air box and is easy to install using common hand tools. AIRAID also offers an air filter cleaning kit that is specially formulated to cleanse the air filter after 30,000 to 50,000 miles of use. This means that the air filter can be used over and over again as long as it is properly cleaned when it is supposed to be.

AIRAID has created a unique power gaining design with the 883-314 performance air intake system for select 1000cc 2011-2015 Can Am Commander models. This air intake system improves power and performance over the factory air intake. The AIRAID system utilizes an air box that features a reversed hood scoop lid with a foam prefilter. 2003 through 2012 Dodge Ram pickup trucks and their Cummins turbo-diesel engines have been a dominating force among heavy haulers and many of these Ram owners have chosen to hang on to their trucks for years and hundreds of thousands of miles. That many years and miles means lots of replacement stock filters. AIRAID offers an affordable alternative to restrictive factory paper filter elements with a reusable drop-in air filter for 2003-2007 Ram Cummins 5.9L engines and 2003-2012 6.7L engines.
