The AIRAID 302-128 cold air dam air intake system is designed to replace the stock air box, air filter, and intake tubing.

One of the most popular pickup trucks in the American market is the Dodge Ram series pickup including the 2500 and 3500. The AIRAID 302-128 air intake system is designed specifically for the 2003 and 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500.

The AIRAID 302-128 air intake kit includes the AIRAID 722-128 universal air filter that is washable and reusable.

A new-for-the-time 5.7-liter Hemi V8 replaced an aging 5.9-liter V8 on the 2003 Ram 2500 and offered 345-horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque. There are also two more engines available including an overhead-cam 4.7-liter V8, which is standard with the 4-wheel-drive model, and a 3.7-liter V6 for the 2-wheel-drive model. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard on the 3.7-liter V6 and 4.7-liter V8.

The pickup was available in two cab configurations –- regular and quad. The regular cab is 2-door and the quad is a 4-door pickup that accommodates up to six passengers. There were two bed lengths available including a 6-foot, 3-inch standard bed and an 8-foot long bed. The 2500 came with three trim levels –- the ST, SLT, and Laramie. The ST is the base-trim and includes air conditioning as standard as well as vinyl upholstery, wind-up windows, and manual door locks. The SLT trim includes the 4.7-liter V8 engine as standard along with cloth upholstered interior trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a number of convenience items. The Laramie is the luxury package and includes leather seating, dual-zone air conditioning, a premium stereo, 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, and plenty of luxury features.

The 2004 Ram 2500 is designated as a full-size, light-duty pickup. A new full-time four-wheel drive system was offered for this model year that improves traction on slippery roads. The same trim levels were available and a sports trim, an off-road package, and a Work Special package were added. The Laramie trim received an upgrade and new options were added including Bluetooth stereo. The off-road package includes 17-inch aluminum wheels and off-road tires, 3.92:1 rear axle, limited-slip differential, skid plates for the transfer case and front suspension, special shocks, tow hooks, fog lamps, and a heavy-duty cooling system.

The 2003 and 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 body styles include a regular-cab and 4-door quad cab. The payload capacity of the regular cab with dual rear wheels is 4,840 to 5,370 pounds. The payload capacity of the Quad Cab with dual rear wheels has a range of 4,420 to 4,960 pounds, depending on options. All Ram 3500 models except for the Quad Cab with short cargo bed have dual rear wheels.

Two gasoline and two diesel engines were available to power the 3500. The new at the time 5.7-liter Hemi gasoline V8 engine generates 345-horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque. A Cummins 5.9-liter turbo-diesel inline-six-cylinder engine delivers 250-horsepower (235-horsepower in California). There is also a high-output diesel engine that offers 305-horsepower and 555 lb-feet of torque.

The 2011 Cadillac CTS was available as a rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive 4-door sedan, a rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive 2-door coupe. The AIRAID 250-324 cold air dam air intake system is designed to fit 2009 and 2008 Pontiac G8 automobiles.

The AIRAID 250-324 cold air dam air intake kit includes a washable and reusable AIRAID 700-469 universal air filter.

Manufactured in Australia, the 2009 Pontiac G8 is a full sized rear-wheel drive sedan that is powered by three different engines –- a 6.0-liter V8 gasoline engine that delivers 355-horsepower, a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 415-horsepower, and a 3.6-liter V6 that supplies 265-horsepower. Three transmissions were available to mate with the engines –- a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 5-speed automatic.

The car was available in three styles – the base 4-door sedan, a GT 4-door sedan, and a GXP 4-door sedan. The 3.6-liter engine powers the base 4-door; the 6.0-liter engine drives the GT 4-door; and the 6.2-liter engine runs the GXP 4-door sedan model.

To provide better gas mileage, the V8 has a cylinder deactivation feature that shuts off four of the eight cylinders once the car is cruising at a consistent speed. The V8 has a fuel economy rating of 15-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. The V6 is rated at 17-mpg city and 25-mpg highway.

The 2008 Pontiac G8 is a rear-wheel drive 4-door sedan or GT 4-door sedan. Two engines were available to power the car –- a 3.6-liter V6 that generates 256-horsepower and a 6.0-liter V8 that delivers 361-horsepower. Two transmissions are available –- a 6-speed automatic and auto manual and a 5-speed automatic and auto-manual. It raced from 0-60 mph in 5.5-seconds.

A sport option package was available that replaced the trunk lid lip spoiler with a wing and 19-inch alloy wheels for the GT. The base G8 V6 is equipped with twin chrome tailpipes and red tail lamps. The Chevrolet/GMC Duramax LLY is a 6,599 cc (402.7 CID) turbocharged diesel V8 engine that debuted in mid-2004 and continued to be available in select Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks until the end of 2005.

Installation of the 202-229 MXP air intake system on an LLY Duramax is both professional-looking and purposeful.

The LLY Duramax features four valves per cylinder in aluminum cylinder heads and iron block. To lower emissions, GM installed a newly developed variable geometry vane Garrett turbocharger. Bore and Stroke are close to square, at 4.06 in (103 mm) x 3.90 in (99 mm) respectably, indicating the intent of co-developer Isuzu and GM for the engine to be as tractable on the highway as off. The 2004-2005 Duramax LLY produced 305 horsepower and 605 lb-ft of torque.
