2014 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra 5.3L Intake System
The 200-285 AIRAID MXP Cold Air Intake System for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 delivers additional power with a simple bolt-on installation.
Like previous models, the latest AIRAID Cold Air Intake for the Silverado utilizes a new intake tube that optimizes MAF sensor location while improving airflow to the engine. The intake tube is attached to a new one-piece roto-molded intake box that utilizes the factory cold air scoop, plus adds an additional large cold air scoop beneath the intake box. The top of the airbox features blade-style weatherstripping, which seals against the hood to keep hot engine compartment air away from the filter. The cold air is fed to a massive 1300 cfm air filter that is available with either oiled composite filter media or dry SynthaMax non-oiled filtration technology. The SynthaMax dry filter is available in traditional red or new color-fast dyed blue filter media.
